Cheap UPS for a closet that stays on overnight
A small battery box so a blink of the lights is not a reboot. Skip a huge rack UPS. Skip this weekend (you don't need a UPS yet). Some file boxes want a cleaner wave of power, and a USB cable lets the computer shut down politely if the battery runs out.
Size for runtime at 100–200 W, not the VA printed on the box. Plug a metal 1U strip into the UPS. Hang both on a 12U 2-post, not the carpet.
