TP-Link TL-SG108PE: 8-port gigabit, four PoE+, 64 W

The SG1005P note already points here when two APs are not the whole closet. This is that SKU. Four PoE+ at 64 W, four extra gigabit, Easy Smart, fanless metal. Not 2.5G. Not eight PoE ports.

SKU TL-SG108PE V5. Eight 1G RJ45. Ports 1–4 are 802.3af/at, 30 W each, 64 W shared. Ports 5–8 are data only. Easy Smart: web UI plus a Windows utility — VLANs (32 of 4K), QoS, IGMP snooping, PoE Auto Recovery. Fanless metal, 158 × 101 × 25 mm, wall-mount holes. External 53.5 VDC / 1.31 A brick. Maker idle 5.41 W, 74.27 W with a full 64 W PD load. 16 Gbps fabric, 11.9 Mpps, 4K MAC, 16 KB jumbo.

Amazon B01BW0AD1W, sold Amazon on fetch. Snaps this year print roughly $50–$70 against a ~$70 list. Print the live tag. Newegg third-party cards at $178 are junk. Confirm the model string is TL-SG108PE, not LS108GP (Omada) and not TL-SG108S-M2 (2.5G, no PoE).

Skip

Skip this if the job is two APs and an uplink — that is SG1005P for less metal. Skip LS108GP unless you already live in Omada. Skip SG108PE listings that photo an 8-PoE brick; this SKU has four PoE ports. Skip Newegg $178 third-party cards. Skip 24 V passive injectors on 802.3af APs. Skip a 2.5G PoE chassis until the radios actually speak 2.5G. Injector vs switch: the two-AP note. We have not sat with a unit.
