TRENDnet TC-P08C6: the 8-port 10-inch panel, skip it for the 12
SKU TC-P08C6 is the 8-port sibling of the TC-P12C6. Same 254 mm / 10 in width. Same 1.7 × 1.2 in face. Maker store $21.99 this pass. Amazon B003SSX1Z2 printed $14.99. Four fewer punches to save seven to fourteen dollars. The 10-inch default is still the 12-port at maker $28.59.
V2 card: 8 × 1000Base-T RJ-45, 250 MHz Cat6, T568A/T568B, 110 or Krone IDC, labels, holders and ties in the box. 254 × 44 × 30 mm. 205 g. NDAA. 3-year limited. Depth 1.2 in, so it hangs in the NavePoint 7 in max mount. It is still not a 19-inch panel. The Cable Matters 180010 still will not fit this cabinet, 8 ports or 12.
Amazon $14.99 looks like a deal next to the 12-port at $28.59. That is the trap. You spend the punch-down once. Extra keystone later is another 1U and another tool session. If you already hung the 6U, buy twelve punches. Print the live Amazon tag — that dollar moves.

Skip the 8-port because Amazon is $14.99. Skip it as a “starter” panel you will outgrow in one punch session. Skip any 19-inch 8-port or 12-port sold next to this one. You still need a 110 or Krone tool; it is not in the TRENDnet box. Use the Klein VDV427-300. Used eBay lots are out. We have not punched a TC-P08C6.
