Cheap KVM-over-IP for a closet you don't want to sit in
Reach the old PC screen from the couch when it won't boot, without crawling into the closet. A $100 HDMI+USB box does that. Skip until you actually need it. A small N100 has no remote BIOS button.
Skip the $400 PiKVM V4 Plus unless you already want that stack. An HDMI dummy is the EDID fix, not the KVM. The host is in the N100 note.
