HDMI dummy plug for a headless mini PC
A closet N100 with no monitor often comes up at 800×600 over RDP / Sunshine until an EDID dongle is in the HDMI port. This is a $16 parts-bin buy, not a GPU project.
Labthrift use is remote desktop and BIOS-via-KVM. Pair with a $100 HDMI+USB KVM if you also need BIOS. The host is in the N100 note.
