Two Intel I226-V in an 89×89×42 mm box at living-room money. The trap is 12 GB LPDDR5 soldered, single-channel, not upgradeable, plus an M.2 2242 slot.

Use it as a tiny dual-NIC appliance or a second node. Do not use it as the Proxmox host you plan to grow. 12 GB is not 8 GB, and it is the same problem. The roundup already set 16 GB as the floor; this post is the soldered-ceiling case. See RAM ceiling / soldered traps.

Skip this as the default Proxmox node. Skip treating dual 2.5G as 4-NIC — see dual-LAN vs 4× 2.5G. If you need a DIMM you can replace, look at EQ14 (max 16 GB DDR4) or VP2430e (Protectli-qualified 64 GB DDR5). Confirm the Amazon title still says N1 Pro / N150; listing roulette is in N150 Amazon traps.
