Protectli VP2440e: N150 with 10G SFP+ without chasing a sold-out MS-01
Minisforum MS-01 (dual 10G SFP+ + dual 2.5G, 96 GB DDR5) is sold out on the official US store. VP2440e is the N-class box that still ships.
SKU VP2440e: N150, one DDR5-4800 SO-DIMM, Protectli-qualified max 64 GB. Two Intel X710-BM2 SFP+ plus two I226-V 2.5G RJ45. Fanless. Max 45 W. Official price $499 on 22 Aug 2026. The original VP2440 with eMMC is volume-order only at $529.
10G optics and DAC are extra. N150 will not saturate two 10G links with IDS. This is still a 4-port appliance, not a living-room mini. Do not chase the MS-01 listing as a 2026 buy post. For plain 4× 2.5G without SFP+, the cheaper sibling is VP2430e at $419.

Skip buying 10G SFP+ because the SKU looks serious. If no flow fills 2.5G, stay on VP2430e or a dual-LAN living-room box. Skip used eBay NUCs and AliExpress-only 10G clones. The general N-class pick remains the N100 / N150 roundup.
